📋 Overview

This extension allows users to export their own Perplexity threads as JSON and Markdown files. All file generation happens directly in your browser — nothing is sent to our servers during an export.

🔍 Data Collection

The extension processes website content that you explicitly choose to export. Exported files are generated locally and downloaded directly to your device — your conversations never reach our servers.

The only thing sent in the background is a small, anonymous service-health signal (about once per browser session) reporting whether the export features still work after Perplexity updates. It contains feature status and the extension version — never your queries, answers, or thread content.

⭐ Premium Verification

For premium features, the extension may communicate with a server to verify subscription status and enforce usage limits.

All executable logic is bundled inside the extension. No remote code is loaded or executed.

🤝 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties. Your exported thread content is yours alone — it never passes through our infrastructure.
